Errol Morris on Photography

The director Errol Morris has been writing about photography for the New York Times for a while, he talks here about his new book coming out related to truth and pictures. Feel free to share any thoughts you have in the comments,

  2. This reminds of a photographer Lewis Hine. He famous in 19th century photographer who took photos of the lower working class. In his series of Ellis Island immigrants he had people look at the camera and sit in a certain way. Even though the pictures were some what setup, there is truth in the photograph. Just like canon balls and dead cow skull, there are still truth in those pictures too.
